Decal printing is a printing technique used to transfer patterns or logos onto porcelain, ceramic and glass surfaces. Dekal is an image printed on a special transfer paper and then applied to the surface of the product to make it permanent. It is produced by screen printing using special ceramic and glass paints or inks. It is fixed to the surface by firing (high temperatures such as 600-800°C are required for ceramics and glass). Long lasting and durable.

The decal printing fee is priced as a separate item in your orders and when you order the exact same product again, you will not be charged for decal printing again up to a certain number. For example; When you order 100 mugs, 300 decal prints are produced and you will not pay decal printing fee for your next 200 orders.

You can see examples of decal printing below.

Decal Printing Process on Porcelain and Glass

  1. Design Preparation

    • The decor, logo or pattern is printed on special transfer paper by screen printing.
    • The paint used is specially formulated for porcelain and glass.
  2. Dekal Application

    • It is carefully placed on the surface using a water-based transfer method.
    • It is glued smoothly to avoid bubbles and wrinkles.
  3. Baking (Hardening)

    • For porcelain and glass products, the decal is fired for long life.
    • It is fired at temperatures ranging from 600°C for glass to 800°C for porcelain.
    • This fixes the paint to the surface and prevents the decal from smearing or coming off.

Advantages

High durability: Thanks to baking, the prints do not fade, do not wear out and are long-lasting.
Aesthetic and glossy appearance: Glossy or matt finish provides a stylish look.
Resistant to washing and chemicals: Especially baked prints can be washed in the dishwasher. (Glass products cannot be washed.)
Suitable for contact with food: The paints used in ceramic and glass products are generally harmless to health.
